Dan Nord, Founder

Dan Nord is an Executive, Career, and Job Search Coach in Los Angeles with a Stanford MBA, UPenn CS degree and 20+ years of executive experience at Electronic Arts, Amazon, and Maxar Technologies. Dan has managed teams from 10 to over 1000 people, owned P&Ls from $1M to $1B+, and successfully exited three businesses. After selling Maxar for $8B in 2023, Dan has been helping professionals target their dream jobs, accelerate their career growth, and maximize compensation. As a current board member, former executive recruiter, and lifelong exec coach customer himself, Dan has a unique 360 degree perspective on the mental, emotional, strategic, and social factors that go into a successful business career.
Most recently, Dan was the Chief Product Officer for Maxar Technologies, a $2B annual revenue satellite imagery and earth intelligence company serving big tech, the US Government and global allies. Prior to that, Nord spent 4 years at Amazon first leading Product Management and Publishing teams for Amazon’s nascent video games business and later with Amazon Kids+ where he oversaw development of original and licensed multi-media content for families.
Prior to Amazon, Dan spent 7 years at EA building their mobile free-to-play business from a standing start to +$1B in revenue. He built and ran EA mobile’s product management organization, led the NBC/Universal collaboration for the Minions and Secret Life of Pets mobile games, and served as General Manager for EA’s Chillingo studio.
Dan spent his early career as a software engineer for web 1.0 & 2.0 startups and as an executive recruiter for Silicon Valley VC firms including Kleiner Perkins, DFJ, and Trinity Ventures. He holds a BSE in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University.
